Nathan man, have you been developing lately or just been standing on the soapbox (not meant to be rude, just a friendly joke).

Not taken as rude. But I can look down on you unwashed masses from up here. ;)

But really - you %rem something that's used by something else and then you can't get out of code section because it does not compile or is remmed out but is needed by some other... Have you ever put code in form events, globals, etc. and the tried to change something.

Call myFunc2

%REM
Dim array as String
Dim array
%END REM
End Function

Remove the REM, this throws an error. Leave it in, this compiles.

When a routine throws a compile error that's too complicated to resolve before
saving, I REM the whole code block, but not the routine itself. This has been
a very successful strategy. Perhaps I've just not written complex enough LS
code -- but I honestly *seriously* doubt that. :)

FYI this is ONE GREAT PAIN IN DER BUM for a big bunch of fellow developers.

I'm not trying to suggest that it shouldn't be done. I guess I just don't see
the urgency.
